Body and Bumper Guards: Yay or Nay
http://web.automarksolutions.com/wa/br/?ID=1112276
If you look at my pics, there are what I figure are bumper guards around the car to protect from dings and such. I don't necessarily mind them, as they came with the car, but was wondering if it is taking away from the clean lines. Basically, just curious if I should just leave them on or take them off. Thanks for your input! |

i think you should take 'em off cause IMO the E9x looks a lot cleaner without them, i think that they look better on the E46's tho but not really the E9x's

Thanks for the response. What do you even call these things? Seems like you have cleaner look on one side, and then a more unique, maybe even aggressive look on the other?
Please keep the opinions coming! |

LOL, alrighty. Will probably do that then. I wonder if I could sell them on ebay for anything? What are they technically called and how much do they cost usually?

Since it's double sided tape, I should just use goo gone and a hair dryer to remove, correct? |

Oh its just tape that's holding it? That method might take years to do lol. Maybe a fish liner or something?

OK front and rear is off. I had to take the car to a body shop and pay $50 to get the front tape off. It was horrible. The residue on the back wasn't bad though. Debating on removing the side ones or just keeping them on now. If it's like the fronts, it's not worth it. If it's easy like the rears, then it's no prob...
