In the last week my 6yr old e90 with blacklines, black Apex ARC-8 wheels got the thumbs up TWICE!

On highway 40 no less, both times the other car used the horn to catch my attention to let me know they approve.

Who would have thought?

Please tell me you were not blasting music while stuck in traffic. Witnessed a sad display yesterday from a mid 40's balding male on highway 40 west bound at the Sources exit in his new 6 Series top down listening to teenage pop music. What a douche and yes he was alone.

I may drive with the radio on when I am in my 2002 GLI, but radio is mostly off when driving the e90, with windows down, I wanna hear the CP-E exhaust burble....

I know YOU guys are no longer impressed with the e90, but a few others do think it's still cool, if visually nicely modded!

They do and it's a super rare colour.

Well... in fact, EVERY colour of the R is super rare, because EVERYONE got the damn blue one :P

So far i've seen 4 Rs, 2 blue (including your's), one grey and one black

It's the "unique" R colour, as opposed to all the others which are available on the GTI. Kind of like the WRX Blue colour.

............ so, of course, EVERYONE ordered it in that colour

I am actually annoyed there will be a new one in 2013 based on the MK7. Wtf? This is supposed to be a limited edition car, stupid greedy VW.

should we combine the tools we're bringing to use less space so that we all fit under a limited number of tarps? I mean we don't ALL need jacks, wrenches, etc?

the blue one is still nicer... at least people can tell theres something different from your golf vs all the other bagged golfs on the road. even though a blue R is 'common'.
