Injen Installed-HELP! Quick advice needed!
Hi. Today I installed my injen intake on my 06 330i. Followed instructions to a T. I've had intakes on my G35 coupe and other cars before and noticed that this one seems much louder than in other cars-is this supposed to be the case? It does sound good, but it's almost deafening at 3500-4500 rpm and it does seem to drone a little when cruising around 2k rpm. Is this normal? Again, it sounds great but it's almost like it vibrates the interior of the car around 3500-4500 rpm even when I'm not pushing it hard or accelerating quickly.
The directions said not to plug in the vaccum line for the 330i...so I didnt, but I wasnt sure-should I plug that into the intake or what? Thanks! |

Okay...for some reason I thought from reading reviews that it would be a nice increase in sound but wouldnt really be "loud". This injen SP is loud! I figured something was wrong...leak, or vaccum line, or something was off. Curious-did you plug in the vaccume line or leave it with the cap on?

Wondering-- I didnt get a bracket with my injen to relocate the power steering reservoir-could this be it? I noticed the two hoses rub up against the intake by the MAF sensor, which i dont think is a huge deal is it? It's not like they are going to be moving all that much or slamming the sensor... but thought i'd ask.
