Why speculate the price so much? You can calculate the price based on the European price differentce between e90 and e92. You will end up $42k-$44k for the 335i.

how many of you are willing to bet that the Base MSRP will be under $40k??? My guess is that it'd be around 39 something as I have previously stated a few months ago. Unless it comes with a lot more standard features, I seriously doubt that it would actually start at more than $40k.
haha its my guesstimate of course... |

The question is, if the well appointed 335i is over 50K, how many people will consider a S4?

I would assume that most people considering a 335i wouldn't consider the S4 due to the weight, and lack of driving dynamics. I'll post some pictures from our Angeles Crest run a few weekends ago. The S4 had a hard time keeping up. Might I add that S2000's kick major ass!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

S2000s kick ass on drive like that, but are not a lot of fun in city driving or highway driving...plus those things are tiny!!!!
On back country roads, they are definitely cool. But back on topic...so where is the pricing?

More importantly, due to the fact that they will sell at least 2:1 over the E92, what is the pricing on an E90 335??

I just spoke to one of my contacts at Crevier. He said that he expects the base price for the E92 335i (..base) to be a little over 42k, and the 328 to be a little over 35k (..base). All conjecture of course, but he said he'd be surprised if the cars were priced any higher than that in base form. |

I think that the general consensus is about 40k for the 335, but 41 for a 328i which i heard in here is outrageous. The car has leatherette and MANUAL seats, as well as less power than the 330i, it will be priced a cut under the e90 330i.

I don't think that's what he meant. His comment (...at least the way that I interpreted it) suggested that the 328i will not be that expensive, and if he's wrong, he'd give up his 335i. |
