Anyone capable and willing to swap window trim?

I have shadowline but would prefer the bright window trim for my '09 335ix sedan.

I'd be willing to swap if you can do the actual swap without bending any of the bits. My shadowline is in pristine condition - yours should be the same.

I'm in Gaithersburg.

Charles,
I might have someone who might be interested.
I will let you know tomorrow night as he will be coming to pick up his CF interior pieces.

Very good Raja - thanks.

For some reason I think that a bit of chrome might brighten up the Monaco blue a bit.

Monoaco blue is a rich color, so the chrome will give it a luxury look.
My sister got deep sea blue and it has chrome and I like it a lot.

I will let you know tomorrow sir. He has a 335i sedan also, so it would be a good swap if he is up for it.

If it were a coupe, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I have shiny window trim on my black e90. I'd be interested in going darker. What's shadowline?

No worries. The swap can be a bit of a pain as I understand it. The top part is a breeze and the rear doors are do-able, but I understand that the front doors are a real pain as the mirror needs to come off (and therefore the inner doorpanel.

OTOH, it is a good excuse to throw some dynamat into the front doors.

I'm not mechanically inclined so I'm not going to be much help doing the swap - but I can hold the beers (or other beverage of choice)

I did the swap on my E90 for the same reason. I had a monaco E90, and wrote up the DIY for it. It is not bad to do yourself, and Im surprised there isnt someone here looking for the swap.

Yeah - I think the Monaco/shadowline looks a bit too bland - although it is slowly growing on me. I'm sure someone will come clamoring for the trim.

Is that the DIY in the DIY section?
