Search for "debadging". All you need is fishing line and something to clean up the remaining doublesided tape when you get the emblems off. 3 Minutes tops.

I used dental floss. Didn't even heat it. It comes right off.

Well, I do live in San Antonio, TX. But no, not really. It was New Year's Day when I did it. I'd guess it was about 65F outside.

It was only six days after buying the car brand new, so maybe that made it easier or something?

Don't get me wrong, I really had to work that floss. I almost cut through my hand at one point, but each character just popped off.

I bought a Vorsteiner Bootlid... that's probably the easiest way to get the emblems off

On a more serious note... when I debadged my G35, I used fishing line... didn't need heat either. Just make sure you also have some GooGone or something similar to get the sticky stuff off after you remove the emblems.

And yeah... next time,

nah, don't think so... I forgot what brand I used on my G35, but if I recall correctly, lots of people use it to get the sticky stuff off...

Just removed 328i from back and both xDrive badges from each side. Just used dental floss. Then removed 98% of glue with my finger and the rest with vegetable oil as another poster suggested. Took about 15 minutes for everything.
