oh my god, these batches everywhere are hideous, the inside even more! That would be a no-go for me, sorry. Looks really, really cheap. Love the bumpers and the rear lights.
In the end you guys in the states get what I have now. 335i with power kit, exhaust and DCT! I can tell you, only the DCT is already worth it
Just de-badge the car and change the parts on the inside

Can you imagine that dashboard badge on wood trim and how hideous that would be? Leads me to believe, the fish scale trim will be the only option.

Its a shame you cant just get the E92 LCI with the N54 engine, the 335is is way over priced....

I do like this, but hate alot of things on it, esp the price/badges. They should have added some more touches like upgraded brakes or more power?

You guys keep saying "it's over priced!" Just do the math though. 335i base $43,200 (with paint) + M-Sport $3,250 + Perf Power Kit $1,990 + Perf Exhaust $1,690 + short shifter $590 = 335is @ $50k. The price comes out to the sum of the parts, and you get the the N54 in a 2011, with LCI tail's and a better looking M-Sport kit.

+1. And for a more reasonable price. This is not the death knell for the S4/5 that BMW needed.

meh... not very impressed.

i also agree that the 335is badging under the sidemarkers, on the dash, and on the gauge cluster are extremely tacking looking.

iS looks good but I will still most likely order 2011 M3 :-)

Also, it looks like the fogs are staying on the coupes.

I'm very conflicted.

Just test drove an Audi S4 yesterday. That particular car I drove listed for $56k, and I was damn impressed with everything about the car. It definitely pulls harder than a stock 335, handles very well, interior is light years ahead of the 3 series, and has AWD with that fantastic torque vectoring rear limited slip diff.

Option out the 335 to the same specs (minus xDrive)....same price. Though you cannot get that rear LSD with the bimmer, at any price.

I haven't driven anything under 50k that I'd take over my 328i, never mind a 335is and I've been test driving pretty much everything I can think of from the new Mustang to the '09 Carrera S (this I'd definitely take over any BMW but the one I drove was $98k)

Everyone's comparing this to the S4/S5 which makes perfect sense but for me the choice would be simple, the S5 is a pretty boring car to drive (despite being very quick)

I'm with all of you who hate the badges but at least the exterior badges will take all of five minutes to take off.

I can't get over the interior: give me an Audi-esque interior + BMW everything else, and I'd be a happy camper.
