whats up guys. just wondering when the next meet up is going to be. i just got back from the sand box and have finally got moved in and settled down.

Nope was a couple of Killeen's finest outside of town said they had me doing 82 in a 70 and asked whens the last time I had a ticket. Loads of fun. Just gotta make it another 2 months then get to worry about traffic cameras in Korea.

I need a good trust worthy muffler shop to check out my exhaust system on my M3.
I have a serious loss in horse power due to it. My service engine light came on when I was on my 2 week R&R from Iraq I took it to BMW and they said I am sucking in excess air some place either in my after market intake ahhh that's not possible because everything is still stock it just has a carbon fiber overlay over everything and a different air filter so this is not the problem

or my aftermarket exhaust system that is causing this code to pop up. Now this could surely be the problem

These are the aftermarket exhaust mods on my M3 AA high flow cats, AA X-pipe and Remus Race Exhaust. according to one of the members on the M3 site they had a exhaust leak with their Remus Race that caused a loss of horse power. If this is the case with my M3 I will replace my Remus Race with RPI exhaust mufflers. But before I do this I need to verify that my Remus Race is or what ever is the cause or if it was this piss poor exhaust shop in Killeen did not do a good job installing my AA high flow cats causing it to suck in air. I need to know a good trust worthy shop in Austin that can take a look, I don't need a shady shop that would make a problem that is not there if you know what I mean $$$$$

Shady, is your exhaust clamped or welded? If it's clamped there might be a leak somewhere. The only reputable muffler shop I know in Austin is Muffin Muffler. The shop doesn't look "state of the art", but they definitely know their stuff.

Guys, Shaun here.. my other account got nerfed for posting titties in the off topic forum....

I blew out a rim coming wide out of a corner on like creek a couple weeks back... be careful out there theres a really nasty pothole and lots of road work right now. I've hit it before but this time it caused catastrophic failure of my wheel... So anyway, my new VMR V710s get here today. yeehaw

Also, I have a BT diagnostic tool if anyone needs to use it, but its not the pro model so I can't help everyone.

Hope everyone's summer is going well, I havnt seen too much of you guys lately... hopefully when i get back from europe in a couple weeks I can meet up with you guys for a meet so i can show you my new toys

The whole exhaust system is clamp and I know It has to be leaking some place

I will take a look at this muffler shop on line. I also have a friend in Austin who just got a Gintani Exhaust installed on his M3 he went to Meineke Mufflers off of 183 N. he said they seem to know what they are doing. So I will keep both places in mind just in case one of them can not get my M3 on their lift because it sits to low and my front lip spoiler won't clear it.

Like the track pictures, what all goes on? A coach drives with you a couple of laps then sets you free? I'd be very interested in doing it sometime just to work on my handling.
