Mods in signature, 14 gallons e85, 2 gallons 91 approx.

And Terry has been helping a lot with fine tuning, etc.

Very excited to see what Pure Stage 2 will do.

Yeah exactly, in kill mode right now...in the name of science.

No mods to fueling, except FF wires. I usually run full tank of E85. I get down to mostly 11 HPFP with full tank, sometimes 12. Strong HPFP I guess.

JB4 ISO w/FF, MHD BEF, VRSF DP, stock FMIC, stock air.

Feels good! Only issue is I think DV is sticking sometimes. But that won't be an issue much longer with DV+

Yes, running E85 BEF. Timing is good as well. Little lower then stock, but I know Terry was testing MBT and 5-8 degrees was max power so should be good there.

Damn, that's impressive. My hpfp crapped out at E50 on stock turbo and 20psi. It's running pretty well now just above E40 but I'm waiting on a new clutch to show up so I won't be able to test any new maps or settings for a few hundred miles.

Oh ok a full tank without PI seems out of this world lol. It seems like you have a unicorn ! Original hpfp ? How much mileage ?

The HPFP has crapped out a few times on some full tanks. Been doing full tank since April, at a few different stations even in different states. I'm sure PS2 will have to add a lot more 91 ACN but we shall see!

What's it do with MHD? Or was that with MHD, or BB, or no BEF?

It happened with JB4 + Cobb BMS BEF.

I just wanted give an update on my experience with the MHD. I decided to take the plunge, remove the JB4, and run a custom tune made by WedgePerformance. I could not be happier with the results. With the JB4 + MHD, the car felt strong but I received a lot of negative feedback about my logs. Ultimately, I want my car to be healthy since I will soon be out of warranty. The peace of mind of having a custom tune built for my car is worth the extra $300. With that said, the car feels even better than it did with the JB4 + MHD and is leaps and bounds better than the JB4 alone. The throttle response and smoothness is unbelievable. I have had other people drive my car and even they notice the difference in power delivery. It feels like the car came this way from the manufacturer. I am now on V3 of Wedge's tune but I believe the V1 log alone looks much better than any log I have taken with the JB4 or Cobb pro tune. I am not against the JB4 but my car seems to run much better on the MHD so I will be sticking with this.

Here is a log that I took on the V1 map.

That's what I like to hear. Waiting on a free weekend so that my buddy and I can uninstall my JB4 and start the tuning process with Wedge. The JB4 has done its job over the last couple of years for me, but the throttle response and smoothness issues you allude to are exactly what drives me up the wall about it. "It feels like the car came this way from the manufacturer" -- beautiful.

Have you emailed Terry logs at partial throttle and full throttle? Terry will modify the BEF for you if there is an issue. The posted BEF maps don't work well for me usually.

I would like to compare Wedge's custom map and Terry's custom BEF, but $300 is a lot right now.

Yes I sent Terry several logs with E85 and Pump gas BEF. They actually got worse when he sent me revisions. At the end of the day, I want my car running properly so $300 is more than worth it. I will sell my JB4 and recover a good chunk of the cost.

Right on. Glad it's working well now.

How's the shifting in comparison? Curious since I have Alpina flash as well.

Shifting is smooth with both set ups. I can take a log tomorrow shifting from 2nd to 3rd and see how it looks.

Justin is just about finished with my 93oct daily tune. Car is running great and power is right where I expected/wanted. Going to get started on E50 map now and see how far we can push the PS1!

Happy New Year everyone...

Normally I don't make comments in threads like this, but I think it's important for people to understand that anything new takes time. But the ball is rolling and things will change quickly with the N55 platform. Much quicker than it did with the N54.

My car: 2012 135 MSport DCT. Pure Stage 2 with stg2 LPFP, upgraded fuel lines, PI, Meth. Currently running 92 oct and meth.

This map... MHD WedgePerformance Commanded WG map. As you can see, WGDC% is super smooth. By using the commanded wgdc, the power delivery is smooth and very controllable. If it stays dry, I'll be turning up the boost a bit more tomorrow.

Here is a virtual dyno comparing JB4 w/MHD BEF and MHD E30 map that Justin sent over with a couple revisions.

JB4 was completely removed for MHD flash. Reinstalled JB4 (20min) and did that run 2nd.

Both same tank of fuel, same day, same temp, same road. About as apples to apples as you can get.
