I work in a car yard and work late night Thursdays with basically unlimited chemicals around me. Helps me get my weekly wash and vacuum in.

Went on a Brisbane based euro car cruise on Sunday, and someone snapped what is officially my first nice picture of the car!

Got one custom made, had to buy a tow hook to chop off for the threaded part, then got a nut welded to the top of that, and a bit of flat aluminium bent up and bolted to the nut.

Did that car originally have plates "kouzu" or something like that?

Ah that's got RB turbos and various other things hey? I saw it for sale when I was buying mine. How does it run? Any issues? I have a rule where I don't buy modified vehicles so I'm curious to hear how this one runs.

I've always had daily drivers and a modified weekend car so this suited me perfectly given I didn't have to open my pockets to do any of the upgrades which probably would of eventuated at some point sooner rather than later anyway.

Downsides:
- Running in the rear 20Xwhatever with a 295/25 is a nightmare. I might as well be driving bare barrel rim. Looking at a solution to import a set of HRE's, 19's still aggressive but hopefully with more rubber and better comfort ride.
- Its black. Its constantly dirty. Even when its clean.... its dirty.
- Seems sluggy down low in 2nd. Could just be me being newbie and not knowing what rpm/speed boost kicks in at what gear yet.
- E92 lack of wide guards. Forever looks weak.
- All soft touch panels inside the car are well worn.
- No elec. folding mirrors, seat warmers.
- KM are higher than I wanted @ 78KM.
- The aftermarket M3 skirt is rubbish quality.
- The big ass scratch in the boot.
- The 1" scratch in the drivers guard.
- The wrong M sport bumper.
- Floor mats I removed as my first mod because they were dangerous as f%^$.
- Very hard to photograph nicely.
- Silly seatbelt B pillar pusher only works 1 in 3 times.
- Replica wheels make baby jesus cry

Upsides:
- Its quick.
- I paid less than $38k.
- Weekends only
- All this euro stuff I wasn't expecting - auto dim headlights etc.
- All mods only 4 months old
- Waterpump - done.
- Plugs - done.
- HPFP - done.
- FMIC - done.
- RB upgrade, exhaust, dump, charge pipe - done.
- Tuned ecu.
- JB ECU for on the fly swaps.
- Servo near me just went to E85.

I've put about 1,000KM on it already so I guess its okay haha. Its very smooth power delivery and catches me off guard quite often doing over the speed limit without ill intentions of doing so deliberately. ie: doing 130 in a 110 zone. It revs very quickly and again catches me off guard as just how quickly WOT achieves redline / shift point (JB ECU flashes indicators as shift light).

Overall can't complain especially for the mods and purchase price. The only real livable letdown is the wheel and tyre package. Hoping to treat myself to a some new ones for a Christmas present though.
