Well at least yours has arrived!

Why not start over in the 'puppies' threads if you're wanting to kill time

This is terrible.

I have a brand new PS3+GT5 Collectors Ed bundle sitting here on my desk, ready to go back to Amazon, and all i want to do is open it up and play GT5!

Well..at least I'll get the replacement tommorrow at some point.

Never going to buy a console again off Amazon

Gotta say I'm disappointed so far...looks no different to GT4 (and I'm supposedly already 20% into the game) and I can't find the bloody Nordschleife to drive anywhere in the game. HELP!

It's awesome - totally converted to it now. Using the g25 with sim settings and it's better than Forza. Going through the licences really gives you a good feel for the breadth of cars and tracks, Andy - you seen the AMG experience yet?

Our post has been and gone and still no GT5 from ShopTo
Emailed them to ask what's going on.

Even worse is that playseat.com are going to delivery my G27 on Dec 1! And it's already in process with UPS! Where the fek is it coming from!

I guess i'll have to get some work done over the weekend and clear a few days early Dec to play catch up!

Thats crap man

Most people I know who bought their copy from shopto.net received theres on Monday / Tuesday. My brother in law bought his copy from shopto yesterday, so when he gets his, i'll let you know.

Well my second PS3+GT5 bundle came from Amazon today, and as soon as the City Link driver knocked on my door, I could see the Amazon box was already opened
So i told the driver that it looks like it's already opened so he said to just open the rest of the box to make sure it's all OK and he will wait and he will mark it down as 'not checked' on his POD thingy. Anyway, it was all fine and even the delivery guy wanted a go on GT5, but sadly for him, he had more deliveries to do

So I have just spent the last hour getting my set up all right/G25, updating the PS3 software, creating a PSN account, popping out to Argos to get a PS3 Slim stand and now downloading the GT5 updates at a really slow speed thanks to Virgin Media, (story for another day!)

Hopefully later this evening, i'll actually get to play on it!

I hope you get your's soon misterS3

I'm hoping it turns up tomorrow. Otherwise, i'll just buy it in person somewhere over the weekend for the £5 i would have saved, and get a refund. I guess on the upside it means i got some work done this afternoon, and will come to work tomorrow (i don't have lackies to bring stuff to my house like Palmballs ) and so i'll feel less guilty when i get it

Enjoy and i'll be playing catch up when my wheel stand pro and G27 turn up next week

Comedy message from Playseat when i asked why it took so long to dispatch my steering wheel (3 says) and why it's taking a further 7 days to arrive:

Dear Mr Ian,

thank you very much for contacting us,
your order is due to ship tomorrow.
Soon after that you'll receive your tracking number, so that you'll be able to track your parcel after shipping.
Best regards,

Playseat Staff

Erm.. i have a tracking number already! And that's how i know when it's arriving. I was going to reply and tell them that...but i'm resigned to the fact that they don't really bother with customer service too much!

I won't be buying a Playseat!
