p30ff
Hello,
3 days ago i was running my 335 at WOT,at the middle of the 4th gear the half engine appears ,i check it with the accessport ,the code is p30ff,i did a boost leak test but found nothing, after several run i realised that when i run it cold the boost hit 18.5psi and no fault codes, after the 3rd run the cat cant hit more than 11psi and the p30ff appear, any thoughts?can the wastegates do that? Thanks in advance for any info |

Yes. Bad wastegate solenoids, cracked vacuum hoses, and stuck wastegate actuator or even the wastegate shaft that runs into the body of the turbo can bind and cause underboost. I just replaced a bank 2 turbo on a 135 because the shaft that goes into the exhaust housing bound up and didn't allow the wastegate to shut.
