thoughts on 2010 335i CPO pricing

Folks, I'd appreciate if I could get some input on a 2010 335i CPO that a local SoCal dealership has to offer. Asking price is $368xx.

It has 17,xxx miles. Previously leased.
M-Sport, Sport, Premium and Navigation.

Their original asking price was $40,xxx.

When I went in, asking price was $38,xxx. I asked for $39,000 OTD. They said fat chance and I thanked them for their time and promptly left. Over the last couple weeks, I've seen the price go down to $37,5xx - this was the very next day after I had seen it. Now it is $36,8xx.

Edmunds and KBB both priced it around $34,XXX.

Would appreciate any thoughts folks have. Thanks!

Offer them $34 and wait for few days/weeks and beside that call other dealers and get quotes and compare.

I got mine for $38k OTD but they also gave me first two payments for free. Exact same car but with 19" M wheels, with 26k miles on it. It was on New Year's Eve. Haggled throughout the day, and then made a deal at closing with the dealership. The longer the car is on the lot, the more they'll be willing to work with you.

$36.8xx is a little over $38k after TTT/fees. It sounds like a good deal, and exactly what you were looking to buy it for anyway ($39k). Pop back into the dealer and see what they'll do for you. You let them sweat for a couple weeks, now they might be willing to get you a great deal.

Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm gonna hold out for a little bit longer. I'm gonna see if they'll give me somewhere between $34 and $38 - like $36K OTD. =)

Hey no worries. All's fair. To be honest, that vehicle wasn't my first choice. I'd prefer Grey or LeMans Blue.

And yes, Marco. I am still looking at this time.

That's a pretty sweet deal - though I imagine it'd be more if it was a coupe. Hopefully more leases are being returned soon!

Yeah we got a great deal, I think. Brought in an ad from another dealership with a lower price and as far as the ad showed it had "all" the same options.

My wife started the negotiation talking with the salesman, so I left it to her to finish it. Original asking price was $39,999 then they offered the internet "sale" price of $38,999. Within 20 minutes my wife had the sales rep saying "You Win." And like I mentioned OTD was 35 and change.

2010 335xi price input

I'm also in the same boat looking for a 2010 335xi M Sport sedan.
I found one in the northeast at a dealer with 44k miles, fully loaded, and 6yr/100k extended warranty. They are asking 33,999. What should I offer up front??? I was thinking 30k off the bat?

Typically, how much do you think they'll come down from their sale price?
