Had a tear up with an evo last night

on a private test track of course,

was pretty even all the way really, several times we had to slow down and re-accelerate up to impressive speeds, and one point we lined up alongside, i was in manual sport and it when i booted it kicked down and lost me a few seconds he got a car length ahead but the gap remained unchanged upto some high speeds

thought they were limited to 155???

getting more impressed with the 335d all the time, she be a quick beast

Bet the EVO driver was well pissed off - not being able to shake off a 'tractor'

Am looking forward to similar malarchy soon (on a track of course - wink, nudge)

I have had at least a couple of cars egg me on in the few days i've had the car. Latest was a Skyline last night. I think the twin separate exhausts might send out thewrong message!!! I stayed with the skyline for a bit but then remembered break-in . In a way I wish it wasn't debadged as i'll missout on the surprise of people realising its diesel

Have you all got your 335D badges on, or are you badgeless?

I cant wait to blow people away in my 350bhp 335D touring!!!!, and then watch their face when they see my D badge

Badge on for me, too.

As there is no puff from exhausts on the 335D anymore, I wish there was a dashboard switch to iluminate the "D" for those following behind

How about going one further and putting a 320d badge on your 335d. Now that would really piss the boy racers off big time. - especially as they would think you were a wannabe with the double exhausts!!

My mate used to have a 325tds superchipped to 170bhp (which was great power for a diesel in those days) but put a 318tds badge on it. He had mighty fun with it because loads more people were up for a challenge when they thought he had the lesser powered car - then he'd literally leave them sitting confused in a pile of smoke when he put the foot down. Ahhhh.... the fun we had - lol

My badge is off as per my post above. I prefer the look but had also thought about getting one of those electric signs you can get and type a message in for the rear window - "You've just been dieselled"
