Hey guys here's my dillema. Running JB3 1.4 rev. 8.3 on map 5 with 94 octane fuel. No other mods but hot dang is this map insane coming from a JB+!!!!!! There's no way to put all the power down in first gear there is so much torque.

I am a little concerned though about a couple of things. First I noticed that often the power delivery just cuts out for a second and then resumes and second I almost always hear somewhat of a muffled humming or sucking air noise at WOT that I never heard with the JB+. Should I be concerned? What could this be?

If there are no codes, its probably just your traction control kicking in and closing the throttle body, and you are hearing the diverter valves blow open. You can try say map 1 which is a little weaker to see what impact it has.

Also, the 1.4 8.3 beta didn't have one of the oscillation fixes for the new ECU software, so update to the final 1.4 8.5 version. That may be your problem.
