Tint Shops in Boston?

Hi,

I'm looking to get my 335 coupe tinted in Boston. Any suggestions as to which shops and what brands to look at? I want 35% and want something in a darker tone since it would go well with my white car.

Tint King in Billerica. I have done all of my cars there and have recommended it to many others who have been very satisfied as well. Brian is a cool dude there.

I have gone to Eastern Glass Tinting too and he was good too.

How much did they charge you at Tint King?

Tint King quoted me $250 for standard and $280 for ceramic tints (higher end) for my 335 coupe. Quite expensive just for tints. Looking for cheaper and reasonable quality places!

Llumar is the only tint they have I believe, no photos yet. Could try and take some tho

I think I paid about $280 for Huper-Optik ceramic tint from Tint King. I've had two cars done there each time with great results. I love the mellow look of the ceramic, it has a soft dark look instead of a shiny or mirror like finish.

Two thoughts to keep in mind: 1) The dot-matrix on your back window is tricky and you want a skilled tech doing the install, and 2) the little felt flaps on my E90 windows have slowly and steadily scratched my tint. You may want to speak with whoever does the install about a fix if that is also an issue on whatever model you have.

Please do so. I will likely be tinting my car next weekend. I think it has come down between Eastern Glass and Tint King. However, I'm leaning over to Eastern Glass to save $100.

I got my cars tinted at Easter tint as well, over in Charlestown. 35% looks really sweet.
It worth every $.

Been trying to arrange a bloody appointment with Eastern Tints for almost 3 weeks now. Every time I call to book for Saturday they say they are fully booked, and will not allow appointments for the next weekend until the beginning of that week. This time I asked to be put on for next Sat as I'm not going to keep calling every week to setup an appointment. Talk about customer service..

Eastside motoring, talk to lorenzo (the owner) tell him Matt with the silver 335 sent you, im sure he can give you competitive pricing, i had mine done there last year.

I'll be doing tint soon as well. Will have to check eastsidemotoring and see what they have for tint and pricing. Tint king wanted $300 for huber and $250 for llumar on a e90 sedan.

Yeah Tint King is quite expensive, altho I hear they're good at what they do. It's also quite far from me..

He uses Sun Tech Tint, and i think for a coupe it was around 180 190 ish.
