Please let me know if you need any help with the Bastuck
1) Our system does not bypass any cats or sensors. We have had local Chicago BMW dealers install our system. 2) will aftermarket exhaust throw any code or error? The Bastuck system is an axel back exhaust and will not cause any codes or errors. 3) what is a good shop to get exhaust installed in Chicago area? We use A&L/IND-Distribution for all installs. The Bastuck system takes 1 hour ($46.00) to install. |

It seems like your questions have already been answered, but just to expand upon your question about an exhaust throwing any codes I just wanted to say that you need to remember to plug the vac line that connects to the passenger side exhaust valve on the stock exhaust. Aside from that you will never throw a code from an exhaust as long as your primary cats are still in place.
