Dynos are useless if its not on the same car, despite all the other differences between dynos and again not significant air flow.
Thats the plan He said he would cover all of the labor and tools...etc. So im going up for some fun and testing. Since hes the engineer/designer for Helix im sure he will have all areas covered....or atleast he should. I will be prepared with my list of tests for him. Only thing I wish we had was a stock car to dyno both IC's on..(one with stock boost and one with autotuned boost) I have a feeling that the HPF will shine with the boost turned up.

Which is measured(roughly) in HP/TQ...which I plan to do as well, it just wont be on a stock car.

Wow, I didn't realise that bringing up the facts could be so hard for some of you to take...
And the facts is that I actually was the fastest N54 with stock snails on our airfield events this year.
2011 is an another year, and only time will be able to tell us the results.

Unfortunately I don't have a Vbox... But I promise I will try to borrow one and do some logs when the weather permits.
But as I've already explained; What happens IRL is what matters to me simply because thats were I race my car.
So, Vbox logs is for you only.

Thanks!
Thats fast, but 100-150 km/h is a little too short to tell the whole truth.
I think we should try to do some 60-130 mph logs instead.

100-150 km/h is 62 to 93 mph. The 2.9 second figure can be achieved with any stage 3 car with meth so it is absolutely nothing to brag about. It is however the fastest documented 100-150 km/h run here that I'm aware of, until some other can prove better and documented figures. The car gave 435 whp (uncorrected) at the time.

On the actual events we have here much more comes into play since this is done from a 50 km/h rolling start to 260 km/h. This is where meth and an aftermarket IC among others are mandatory to get on the podium.

I would venture they would go hand and hand.

You would want sufficient flow, and efficient reduction of temps at the sametime. A so called Happy medium.

Too little restriction might not give the air enough time to lower.

Too much restriction, and you get that crazy pressure drop and bottle neck and naturally higher IAT.

I know, but you will easily run below 2.9 once everything is settled and there is good grip.
