Dealer forgot front plate in NJ Q?
So my dealer forgot to put a front bracket and plate on my car. Can I get away without one for long in NJ?
Thanks! .

My friend bought a used car, and on the same day got a ticket for not having front plate. I guess sometimes you get lucky...

Almost a year with no front plate on my car and no issues. Driven around, along side, behind, and practically over cops and not a look in my direction. At this point Im almost asking for a ticket to make me feel better.
Then again, my philosophy seems to be holding true: The closer you live to the PA border(where they dont have front plates) the more they assume youre just a PA resident and dont look twice. The closer you are to NY(where they require a front plate) the more likely you are to get pulled over.

decent product which gets the job done. although they could have maybe engineered it a bit differently to make it easier to put on and take off. |

Is it that hard to take on and off? I just imagine you rotate it counter-clockwise then take the whole thing off...

Harder to screw on tightly cause you also need to make sure the plate is level after you fully tighten the lug. |

i never get bothered. I don't have any plates on my sportbike. Only one town i did get pulled over and get a ticket, and that was Longport near Atlantic City. It was only $42. If it's 1-2 times a year, it's worth the $42-$84...
