Hello!

We are happy to announce that the second autocross of 2011 is planned for February 20, 2011 at Auto Club Speedway. This event follows traditional autocross format and will be in Lot 12. Please plan to arrive by 7:00. Tech and Registration open at 7:00. There will be a mandatory drivers’ meeting at 8:30 and the first car will leave the line at 9:00.

Registration is $65 if you register before midnight February 18, 2011. Late registration will be $75 CASH ONLY. If you want an extra lunch that is $7. Helmet rentals are $10. Please note that if you register and do not pay you are not officially entered in the event.

Cancellation – there will be no refund or credit toward a future event if you cancel less than seven (7) days before the event. No exceptions.

Please note - you do NOT need to drive a BMW or be a member of the club to participate (although both are recommended). This is a great place to come and learn how to drive.

Do they charge to just watch the autocross?

No charge to watch, but you still need to sign the liability waiver and release. Hope to see you there!

We have about 60 registered but I have not checked the break-down of types of cars.

The porsche gt3 had the best time,I think!The best time for a 335i was about 16 seconds slower than the Porsche!

This was extremely well run. Much better than past years. Excellent job, great event!

Thanks to the hard work and talent of our volunteers I am really happy with how the event ran. Our team did outstanding work and I can't begin to thank everybody enough.

Here are some fun pictures from the day. Only in Southern California could we have weather like what we enjoyed on Sunday!
