Hi all,

I've read through numerous threads regarding battery replacement. From what I've gathered, to get the exact same specs as the original, your best bet is OEM. The problem is it costs at least twice as much as an aftermarket battery brand. The consensus for an alternative is a group 94R or H8 which is the closest in size and typically has specs that meet/exceed the original.

Can you guys share your experience with either battery (or even a different size)? Please include your brand, specs, price and where you picked it up.

I'd like to use this thread to discuss AFTERMARKET batteries only. Please do not post that OEM is better and I got so and so deal from BMW of Whatever. Also, lets not get too caught up in the discussion of whether to get the battery registered or not. That's a different topic.
