Scammer: JerzeySux/Jon/Yohan/Annie
So I posted few months back about a possible scam on my v1 purchase.
Here's gist of what happened: Around Feb: I buy v1 from JerzeySux/Jon/Yohan (which ever is his real name) for $300. He says paypal don't work, and would only do bank transfers using checks. Because $300 was a great deal, i say okay, and go ahead and send him a check. Mar 1st: The check gets to him, he deposits it, and sends me the tracking number. Few days later, the package does not get here, but gets returned to the sender. Reason? Wrong address. Mar 3rd week: I call him saying the package has been returned to him, but he says the package isn't here. I get a confirmation from USPS that the package has been returned. Then he says he has the package insured and that if the package is lost then he will get the money back. He told me to wait until he gets his money back. I said okay and waited. Apr: He says insurance cover is not working because he needs the receipt of the v1, which he purchased few months back and does not have anymore. He says wait few weeks more till he takes care of some stuffs. May: I ask him about the update, no reply. June-July-Aug: I send a pm to ask about any updates, still no reply. Now i'm guessing he was just messing with me and ran away with my $300. I posted few months back because I was so upset but he argued that he needs his back covered, or some bullshit like that. Anyways, since now he took off with my money, and hasn't been online for few months, I'm just gonna let other people know. |

Wow man that sucks. U need to do some under cover work and find out where he lives and go pay him a very unfriendly visit. I'm thinking maybe u should slap his mother and beat his face with a brick.
That's just an idea of something along the lines that I would do... Good luck and good lookin on the heads up

The problem is op still don't know who the seller real name is ,so there no reputation to ruin to begin with! I think forum should start taking people info like credit card and real name for the marketplace purpose.

damn, thats pretty crafty.
1. purposely send to wrong address knowing you're going to get back 2. "buy" insurance knowing it won't be processed 3. enough time has passed and you peace out sorry to hear, really sucks when f*ckers pull stuff like this. always use paypal in the future and for anything high priced, even ask the seller to go to extent of setting up an ebay auction with buy it now for the add'l coverage. tell him you'll split the fees - that's what i did for 2 sets of rims. |

Submit your case to the US Postal Inspectors, they view these kinds of affairs as mail fraud since the check was tendered, and product was 'shipped' via USPS.
https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/f...Complaint.aspx This is the one agency that will be able to do anything about it. They cant magically make money appear like paypal does, but they will definitely go after him through his local PD if they deem it a worthy case.
