This is a great deal to and from a very respectable forum member. Hope you have better luck this time. I got scammed by a forum member once too so I can empathize with you and it pisses me off as well. I agree with the others - you should really do something to make him pay, but not something stupid that will put you on his level. Talk with the authorities, give them the evidence, and get the police involved. Best of luck!

Damn, that sucks man. I agree with Alpine Whiteboy because I would most likely approach the situation in the same way as he would. But definitely file a claim with USPS though, might help. Hope it all works out in the end for you.

In all reality the guy who have the advice about the mail fraud was the best ideal, some Postmasters have hard ons for this kind of thing and they will show up on his door with the FBI.

BTW, just buy a new V1, it is the only product which sells used for almost the same price as new, I see them on ebay all the time and people bid them up over the cost of new. I had mine for over 10 yrs now and never had a single problem. I probably should send it back for an upgrade, but hate not having it.

Go to small claims court and do that shit. If you sent him a check, you can go to your bank and find out more info on his account. Once you found some info or his addy...*knock* *knock*..or smash his place..and then go report to the police for internet theft..or there was a site online for specially for these online purchases.

i don't want to make this more complicated than it is now. i've filed a fraud claim with usps but they said that they can't do much at the moment... which sucks =(
