BMW gives several K lower than most other dealers (for a trade in). But if you think the trade in is 30K then I wouldn't recommend an almost brand new car with a 4 year 328....

1. If you have 30K for a car... I would go for at least a 2009 w/ Nav, Premium Package, Winter package (for heated seats, etc), Logic 7 Sound system, Sports package is nice too, but not that important. Trust me you want all of these. The Nav was completely changed in 2009, huge improvement. You can't live without Logic 7, it is a BMW and music should sound fantastic. The HiFi sound is great, but not up there.

2. Look at the warranty. Get the car that has the most original warranty. You will get more out of the car. All 2008 cars that have original warranties have ended or ending very very soon. Mine car is this July.

i also want to 09 or newer but i searched over 200 miles distance
this is one of few bmw has rwd, zsp, and zpp on , rwd with zsp are so rare in tri state area

There are much more option for x drive but I want to go with rwd this time
the reason y i want to change this one, because i just hate turbo lag of audi engine and this car rolling too much , i know it's my mistake to not looked up carefully before buy audi .
The thing is i don't want to pay for finance another 4 years on car that i don't like

should i go for that one or i should wait until better one comes up?

I had a different story where I was trading a 2008 subaru to a 2008 bmw. You have a new car. What about sedans? Why the coupe?

Are you going to have spare tires for winter driving? Rear wheel drive only with all season, I wouldn't go that route.

NJ is full of bmw cars.

i don't mind sedan or coupe if it has zsp and zpp
before audi i used to have 128 i with zsp had it for 2 years , guess i miss bmw handling and feeling,

at that time i wanted little bit more softer ride , zsp suspention was too harsh for ny road condition , also brew up 1 tire at pot holes , i was little stress for this harsh ride

but strange thing is.. i miss that ride right now
audi without sport pkg .. just too much roll I feel like i am driving boat, and this turbo lag is so annoying

2008 328i that was only one i find 100 miles radius from my area with rwd, zsp ,zpp on it for less than my expected trade in values

i can wait bit more for better value 328i , just wanted to know if there are 1000-2000 more room for negotiation price.

it seems you could get a decent 335i for that much. But if you want the 328i that one sounds clean.

I paid 32k for a brand new 328 just one month ago and others have gotten even better deals. There are plenty of 328 at good prices I don't see why you would go for used unless you wanted highly optioned car.

In my personal opinion, I wouldn't go without the idrive/nav. It makes it look too simple like all other cars.

I wouldn't trade the car in - it's a 2011, and you're going to trade it in for a 3-4 year old car? I mean, BMW > Audi in terms of performance, but it just seems very impractical to trade in a new car for a used one.

Not only is it very impractical and will cost you dearly. You will take a beating on the trade-in and end up with a 4 year older car that has been replaced by a newly designed 3 series.
Why are you thinking of doing this?

I would suggest some English classes.

Back to the topic. OP, bravo for sticking with RWD. And if you're expecting a 30k, even 27k, for trade in look at a CPO 328. Sports pack is a must and look for iDrive too.
