e92 window regulator veritcal adjustment
Does anyone have a diy to adjust an e92 window regulator? My driver side window is about an 1/2 an inch off and isn't sealing properly. I can tell that it's off as the log sits quite a bit lower than the passenger side window. the passenger window is dead quiet and solid. Driver's side window has some lateral play and it noisy at highway speed.

Just tried the regulator reset and still can't get the window to roll up that extra 1/2 inch that it needs to. The automatic 1/4 inch movement on open and close works, but when the door is closed, i need the window to go up that little bit extra to close the gap.
Any other ideas? |

I have that exact same issue also.
Did you have coding done ? Like something related to the FRM module. I suspect the issue occurs when programming the FRM module while the e92 door is opened (hence cracked open the 0.5 inch automatically), it resets the top position to that lower 0.5 inch. Just a though... I am still finding a solution on that one and will report back if I find one. Tried once the Window Initialization reset (http://goo.gl/613MK) but it did help... |
