How many miles since your first brake change?

My 2011 335d is up for its rear brake pads after 20,500 miles. I'm curious how long everyone else has gone before their first brake service.

Please include in your response:

Year, Model, Front/Rear Pads, Sport Package? Yes/No

fyi, the DSC uses rear brakes to control the car, so aggressive driving (not necessarily braking) will increase wear.

Yep, absolutely. I was considering putting an aggressive driver question on the poll. I definitely fit into that category...

My 320dA has 41,000km on it and the iDrive says i can do 16,000 more until the rears need to be replaced. So 57,000km = 35,000miles
I also do quite a lot of urban driving, but not agressive, though.

1. My rear pads lasted ~40k. Not an aggressive driver at all.

Rear pads at 35K and still going on front pads at 51K.

I regularly autocross so I guess i'm an aggressive driver.

335i... Rear pads changed at 48k but only due to lease buyout CPO inspection which requires 50% pads. Rear rotors are original. Otherwise fronts at 75k right now and just about to signal the service indicator. Aggressive driving but no tracking. I am very pleased with this brake wear!

2006 325i non-sport, spirited but not aggressive driver: Just replaced the rear pads this weekend at 36,000 miles.

2008 328xi manual, no sport package

The car at 69000 miles are still on its original pads front and rear. The computer says I still have another 50000 miles on the rear and about 30000 miles on the front. I am not even sure if the computer is correct, but the tech inspecting the pads recently said they still have many more miles.

I do mostly highway miles. I guess engine braking extends the life of the brakes.
