Hi everyone, yesterday my radiator fan came on full power and stayed on for a good 10 mins till I got home, I then used the car this morning and the radiator fan did the same (sounding like a jet engine!). No fault has come up on the dash and the car hasn't gone into limp home mode so I'm wondering if it could be the water pump or thermostat? I've checked the coolant level and that seems fine too. Any info would be great before sending it to the local specialist. The car is a 335i with the N54 engine having covered 72,000 miles if that's any help.

Definitely water pump going out, same happened to me, dealer told me I am one of the lucky ones where it gave me symptoms and not die on me on the road. I had the pump, thermostat and a radiator flush done for $1300.
