I dont see why it wouldnt fit. Where did you hear that from? The wheels are 19x8 F (ET37) and 19x9 R (ET39). It should fit the E92xi just fine.

Tischer BMW stated that they are not listed by BMW to be compatible on xi models. Gary, what do you think? Is anyone with a 335xi coupe running these wheels??

I could be wrong, but I believe BMW doesn't recommend running staggered wheels on any XI model.

I think that is what they recommend but there are a lot of guys running: Front 235/35-19 and Rear 265/30-19 on their xi's. If you can put M6 reps why not 230's? Doesn't seem like anyone has a good answer. Maybe because the 230's are so hard to find.

If people are running M6 rep, then the 230 sould fit. I can't see why not.

You could run the 19 X 8 's all around. Just buy 4 fronts and run 235/35-19 tires.

So the M6 reps are: Front: 19x8.5 ET35
Rear: 19x9.5 ET33

The style 230's are: Front: 19x8 ET37
Rear: 19x9 ET39

Someone explain to me the difference.

I pretty sure it is because a staggered set would throw off the computers stability program cause you are messing with the geometric parameters.....this is what i've heard and i think it makes perfect sense for xi models since its moving at all corners.

That makes sense. I still don't understand why the M6 reps work then, which are staggered.

Of course BMW will not list those wheels to be XI compatible since they dont recommend running staggered on XI models. Since there are people running M6 reps on XI models, I dont see why the style 230 wont fit.

If you compare the offset to the 230 to M6 with the 230 being the nominal offsets then this is how much more your wheels will stick out:

Front ET delta: 8 mm
Rear ET delta: 12 mm
