HIDs do put out quite a bit of heat, but there have been no reports of melting as of yet. The AiBs use high-powered LEDs, this isn't a threat.

I don't think the LEDs on the iBrights put out that much heat. I have wires resting over the heatsink and no melting....

Very little heat towards the heatsinks, however large enough to allow the LEDs to run for extended periods of time.

i just ordered the new V 4.0 angel iBright on EAS.
hopefully will be here in a couple of weeks, i live in the middle east thats why
