Hey David, thanks for the pictures. Awesome to see the beast. It was nice to see everybody and meet new people. We need to do this again. It would be great to actually do a mountain drive with everybody. Can't wait till the next one.

Maybe we can get Darcy to get the mountain run together in the blog? A run to Deal's Gap would be awesome, but if nobody can make that, we could do a run through Suches? Maybe people can start to chime in?

Great seeing everyone today! As far as the mountain run, my wife has enforced a rule - NO MOUNTAIN RUNS IN THE CONVERTIBLE! It's the car I bought for her, so she has the authority on this one . So while I cannot participate I can help you guys organize it. Also the M-Atlanta group is doing the Tail of the Dragon this Friday. If you are interested, contact Anthony at
info@m-atlanta.org They were talking about it today at the show.

Wish I could have made it to waffle house, but that was a little too early for me. I hope I can make it next time it sounds like fun. Also that mountain run sounds like fun, but I'm just not sure if I can go (weekends are getting busy).

My parents arn't into modding so im tring to start small and cheap, does anyone know of a cold air intake that is good, but cheap to buy, easy to install (never doen any engine work), and finally is it worth it, or is the intake on my 328 good already?

The intake is very restricted on these cars. But if you go with an intake, you might as well go with an exhaust. If you want to keep it cheap, I would just do a drop-in filter with something like either, afe, BMC or K&N. It will give you better air circulation in your stock air box.

Thanks for the feed back, and ya my main objective here is cheap. The cheaper it is the more my parents are willing to allow me to get it. I'm planning on getting pretty decent cheap things and working my way up to say an exhaust.

I like runs to Helen after 400 stops in Dahlonega...

The hills and curves between Lafayette and Dalton aren't bed, either.

A nice route which is easy to start with begins in Jasper. Take 136 East from Jasper and climb the mountains. After the downhill you intercept 182 which you take a left on (right continues on 136). About a mile up, it forks and you take 52 east to Dalonega. Pick up 60 north and after about 15 miles it starts climbing and turning. It ends up in Blue Ridge with the option of taking it easy down 575 or reverse the route.

Quite nice for me as it is close to home. I can be at the start in about 20 - 30 minutes.

Let's do this run guys. What are some good dates? I know March 24/25 there is an autocross event up in Stone Mountain with the BMW CCA, which I wanted to try out. I know its always an issue...BUT...what are some available days/weekends that would work for you guys? We could perhaps do it in he morning to avoid conflicts, and try to be back around lunch time? Fridays are best for me, but can certainly do Saturday/ Sunday if I am in town

Nice ride man! And good to meet you. You have to come to the next meet. Keep up with my blog below.

I had my first official DIY today. I had to put in my headlight bulbs after one of my last bulbs started acting up. I bought some OEM bulbs this time after having two sets of aftermarkets that sucked. They sure don't make this stuff easy anymore. First I had to buy a new lug wrench because my current one didn't fit a 17mm lug. I also had to buy a hydraulic jack($20 at Walmart). I had to take the wheel off, take part of the wheel wheel off and then the light casing. It wore me out. But the lights are working!
