17s under $1000

Ok, I changed my mind about what class it will compete in so I can get 17s.

What are some 17x8 all around under $1000 for track use?

Wouldn't you want atleast 8.5's? You could 235's nicely on those, if you're going for a non-staggered setup.

Anything after 8 would bump me up a class into STU.

At Tire Rack they have some ASA AR1 (17x8) $139 at 21.2 lb each.

Also Sport Edition KM11 at 22.5 lb and KV5 at 22.0 lb, both $129 each.

These should come under your budget (with tires).

The RFT are winters. For the track I'm going to get Falken Azenis 615.

Your gonna want to get awsome tires though.......tires in a 17'' diameter arent as expensive as the 19 and 20'' diameters we're all used to. So get some amazing tires.

K1 wheels. About $800 or $900 shipped. They weigh like 17 lbs and are fairly good for track use. A lot of weekend track warriors use them for autox and on the track.
