X-Pipe in E92 will cut rasp?
Ok, I have been messing around with exhausts systems lately and I would like a little more sound. Right now you can read this thread (or at least the first few posts) to catch up. My question is; I have been told that having an X pipe installed in my cat-back system will cut down on rasp when (and if) I install glasspack mufflers to make it louder, do you think this is true? I am not doubting the person who told me this, I would just like some more feedback. Thanks!
Here is the link to the other thread http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=433 here is what it sounds like right now

Straight through resonators will be the best thing that you can do to cut down on the rasp. Guaranteed.

What's the difference between a straight thru resonator and a straight-through muffler? Can a muffler be used as a resonator?
