WTF happened to Pandora with iOS5?

got my iPhone 4S and pandora no longer works with 6NR...it says "please update to latest version of pandora" which it already is! Apparently it's broken for the time being:

no iOS 5 for me then. Pandora gets lots of playtime on my phone.

I visited a car dealer yesterday and the salesman demonstrated the bluetooth pandora streaming using my phone with iOS 5 and it worked fine.

He was streaming Pandora over bluetooth. That's different than what they're talking about.

sjones, Did you receive a response from Pandora acknowledging the problem? If so, Did they confirm when/if it will be fixed in the next Pandora version update?

Yes and Yes in the US....Not sure if it's available in London.

All, Looks like Pandora just pushed out a version update today (version 3.1.15) which includes;

*Fixes for BMW/MINI integration for iOS5.

Will test it later and let you know the outcome.

It works with the update, but now you can't lock the screen or the app will exit. It's a step backwards, they should figure out how to make it play in the background so you can still access other apps while playing music through Pandora.
