TPMS Question

I new to the forum as I just bought an 07 328i. I am looking at getting new wheels and tires. My question is about my TPMS. If I am understanding correctly, there are two different systems depending on when your car was manufactured in 07 ? I have rubber valve stems so does this mean I have the ABS monitoring system and dont need the TPMS sensors for new rims? Thanks for any help.

Correct on all accounts. Rubber stems = no TPMS.
