Just a heads up to anyone planning to do this mod...i did mine last weekend with matte titanium fabric from PYSpeed. I used the 3M 90 spray adhesive rather than the 77 due to the high heat we see in NC. The 3M 90 spray does NOT spray a consistent smooth pattern like the 77 as shown in these pics. it shoots more like globs and a stringy type pattern. it took me alot of time to get it as smooth as possible, and i wasnt successful in all areas. i have small bumps in two of my pieces that i am just going to have to life with.
If anyone has any idea how i can get these parts smooth other than rip it off and start over, i would be much appreciative. thanks |

I did my interior (E90) with about a 48"x36" piece.

i dont think i sprayed too much at all. maybe i got a defecfive can or something. i was expecting the 3M to spray like spray paint and when i used the 3M 90 spray, that was far from the case. soem of the bumps have disappeared as teh fabric has been exposed to heat over 100 degrees here, but im definitely taking off at least one piece to redo.
i also need to fix my ashtray cover. the fabric from pyspeed seems alot thicker than some others and my ashtray doesnt open and close properly anymore. i have read that i can just add a few washers to the screws and it should work better. |

The washers will work for sure, I had an issue with the rear ashtray's lid rubbing, and a couple of washers in the bottom screws IIRC did the trick. I don't think I added washers to all 4 screws. |
