Any of you have some motoring stories.
Maybe the guy's wife was in labor in the back seat. On his way to the hospital.

+1

This happened to me when I had an emergency and for some reason people think that you want to race or an a-hole. I did not care about police and they even provide a high speed escort if needed to clear the traffic.

Move over and let people drive instead of slowing down!! He has the right to go full throttle as much as you have right to drive like an old fart.

While i can see the guy was probably an ass for using his high beams and hands- maybe he was closing and you came into the lane not seeing him bearing down on you? hence his wild gestures? just trying to see the other side here, although Jeremy Clarkson has a special 'c' word for Audi drivers who tailgate i wont mention that here

Anyway, while i can see why you may be entitled to some annoyance at his behavior, slowing down and blocking somebody is kind of dickish too, but i wasnt there.

I think both drivers are really at fault to varying degrees. Sure, OP probably shouldn't have slowed down to get in the guy's way but instead, upon seeing the speeding driver in his rear view either sped up or slowed down to move over. On the other hand, the other driver definitely does not have the right to go full throttle down the highway, this is obvious. This endangers drivers like the OP who have to make a quick decision as to how to move over. Had he flipped me off instead of giving me a chance to get over safely I would have done the same thing as OP, and been at fault just like OP.

In 20 years of driving this is the most aggressive I have seen another driver behave.

Thought you guys mike like the irony of the story. Instead I feel like I am being placed under a spotlight.

OP, the Audi was right to flip you off, you sound like a douche-nozzle.

Speed up or get out of the way.
This! Drivers in Chicago are ass-bags, they always slow down in the passing lane.

Funny Vid though

You're the one who chose to make a thread bragging about driving like an asshole, we're just calling you out on it.

Welcome to e90 post... j/k! You should visit LA there are many occurances of this- I think everyone is on your side until they hear that you SLOWED DOWN in the left lane. With all the people that seem to ignore the fact that it is a passing lane (around here at least) that is the last thing they want to see from a fellow enthusiast-

OP
Did you immediately signal? I do this when I see impatient drivers behind me to let them know "yeah I'm on it just give me a sec"

Therefore:

BMW>Audi

No other explanation.

Sometimes I screw with people when they are driving like a-holes. Then 5 minutes later, I'm like, "I shouldn't have done that!" All part of being human.
