(TX) FS: FS: 2007 BMW 335i E92 Coupe (CPO + Maintenance) $24000
Update: the car will be going into the body shop next Monday. Discounted pricing in effect until then Selling my wife's 335i E92 Coupe. I'm located in Frisco, TX, just north of Dallas. If you need to fly in, I can pick you up (your choice, the E92 or the M5 ) and if you decide that you don't want to purchase the car based on some misrepresentation on my part I'll pay for your return flight. Vitals: White Grey interior (lighter color grey) Grey Poplar wood 58,000 miles 6 speed manual transmission Sport Package Premium Package Navigation Comfort Access Power rear sun shade Smokers Package (never been smoked in, just came with it, has a power point and cover to the ashtray) Logic 7 sound with ipod control Heated seats This car is both CPO (so warranties the car until 100k miles/6 years total) and has Certified Maintenance. This means that oil changes, brakes, etc. are all covered for free by the dealer. The cost of the CPO warranty was $2095 and the Maintenance Plan was almost $2000 as well. In addition the car has the tire and wheel warranty through BMW (http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...rotection.aspx). This should be transferrable to the new owner. Original inservice date: 9/29/2007 Factory Warranty Expiration: 9/29/2011 or 50000 miles (passed obviously) CPO Warranty and Maintenance Expiration: 9/29/2013 or 100k miles, whichever is first. In addition to the factory loaded trim, I've added an M3 steering wheel (thicker, more comfortable) and M Sport shift knob (shorter, shifts crisper, matches the lighter leather better). It has also been tinted. The factory yellow angel eyes have been replaced with whiter light bulbs. New tires were put on before we purchased it, about 8000 miles ago and are still good, OEM run flat tires. The car was always serviced at the BMW dealership (the previous owner in Little Rock there and here at Classic or BMW of Dallas). Under warranty the following work has been done since we've owned it: - HPFP recall - waste gate actuators replaced (common issue) - radio trim/buttons replaced (they were sticking) - replaced the steering wheel trim (peeling paint, common issue) So... all this, why is the price so low? The car was hail damaged in a storm a few months ago. Normally it would have been in the garage, however it was at BMW of Dallas for service and it was outside and got damaged. It has two larger (and a few smaller) dents on the hood. A large dent on the roof (and a couple smaller), a couple small to medium on the trunk lid and one small to medium dent on the side of the car. Other issues: - small paint scuff on the passenger rear lower bumper (looks like a low shopping cart?) - small chip in the windshield - one wheel has a small ~1.5" curb, but you've got to be looking for it. I have the title in hand, no liens. If you need financing and have good credit, http://www.penfed.org, 2.49%. My plan right now is to sell the car now as is. It is scheduled to be repaired next month. After repair I will raise the price $2,000. And if it doesn't sell I'll drive it for two more worry free years. Poor picture: Options list & warranty info (doesn't have the maintenance listed, but it's there): Click here to see big: View post on imgur.com Last edited by goofygrin; 08-13-2011 at 01:10 AM.. |

As you can imagine, it is exceedingly difficult to take pictures of hail damage.
Here's my best effort: http://goofygrin.imgur.com/335i The one on the roof is the largest. There are a few smaller ones that are hard to see in bright light. |

Ha! She's only owned 2 automatic cars. Since we've been married she's driven a Civic (stick), G35 Coupe (stick), RX400h (hybrid, we had a baby), G35 Sedan (stick) and the 335i.
She's a keeper for sure |

I have uploaded more pictures to the imgur gallery: http://goofygrin.imgur.com/335i
I uploaded these straight off the camera, you can view them in imgur's full resolution by clicking the "Download full resolution" link on the bottom right. If there's one in the full 2.8meg file you want, just let me know. If you want a picture from a different angle or something, let me know. I tried to take more pictures of the hail with a quarter to size comparison. A couple things: - I didn't wash the car, but I'd vacuumed and conditioned the leather (it was due for it, and frankly it needed wiped down from dust, it's been a long hot summer here in Dallas). - the steering wheel looks greasy. I'd just wiped it down with a leather treatment wipe. It's not funky - the seats look yellowed in the pictures and they are not. They are clean. The only defect in them is a slight scuffing on the bolster. Its basically three little marks that are hard to take a good picture of. |

If I midget could stretch that far I would've been very interested (local too, Plano), but alas, a bit too many dollars. GLWS bro, good to hear that others have wifes that prefer manuals as well.

At $26k (once the hail is repaired next week), I think it's a steal.
A fully loaded 6MT AW coupe? Sure it's high. CPO and Maintenance for 41.5k miles or 2 years? Now it's a good price. Basically you buy this car and your expenses will be tires, gas and insurance. It does have the tire and wheel warranty on it, but I'm not sure if that's transferrable. If so, I'll transfer it. |

Looking here: http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...rotection.aspx
It is transferrable. I'd need to verify for the plan that I got (bought at the dealer with the car), but there you go. Even more protection. |

Oh I wasn't arguing that the price was too high, just complaining that I don't have enough money, and giving you a free bump.
EDIT: There's not that many local cars being sold at a realistic price, I was just beating myself a little for not having those few extra grand that all, like I said, GLWS, I think you'll probably have more luck with the hail damage repaired. |

The car is now back and we've taken some more pictures.
http://goofygrin.imgur.com/335i_2#2o1GO We had the car appraised last night for trade in and will no longer entertain offers under 25k. That's basically our break even to trade versus sell. The bad: The windshield had a hail related chip in it that ran during repairs. The windshield will be replaced as part of the repair, but we're still having to wait on that part. That should likely occur next week sometime. Technically goofygrin's wife posting while goofygrin is away playing in Cali, so if I've missed pics you want to see, please let me know and I'll do my best to get more shots added to the gallery.
