that second falsh which i was told by my dealer today is a torque limitation (power downgrade) the SA explained that they were decreasing torque by a significant %..... they couldnt tell more about it.He said to me: " You wont be happy with this flash" as he knows i was already complaining about my M-package and a top speed of 130mph. I should have 155mph top speed with mtech! WTF BMW ??

No noticeable change after recall
Haven't noticed much change after recall. If anything, it improved a bit, but it's all in "the margin of error" and I think I am driving more efficiently the longer I have the car. Except when I can't resist the urge to make use all that lovely torque, which is reasonably often.

I saw a decrease of 8-10%, from something over 38 to around 35 mpg. Recall was done 6 months ago and I have not seen an increase back to the original levels.
On the positive note, DEF usage seems to be more in line with service intervals. I was filling the DEF every 6-8,000 miles before the SCR recall. |

Mine seemed to have returned to what it was before. With changing weather (AC usage), cold winter starts, it can be hard to tell for sure. My average is again typically showing over 30 on each tank, for a while I went months without breaking 30, until the last update which was many months ago. I think there may even be a newer one.
