Flex XC3401VRG's in stock at DetailedImage.com

Hey guys, just wanted to give you a heads up that Flex XC3401VRGs came in today and we'll be doing our best to fulfill all the pre-orders today, latest on Monday. There is some remaining stock left on the buffers, so if you're interested, now is the time to place them without a delay in shipment. This is the first time we've had them in stock, ready to ship since October without pre-ordering them. If you place an order today, chances are it won't ship until Monday though due to the fulfillment of the current orders and backorders. Just wanted to let everyone know.

George

Thanks for the excellent customer service George.

I used the Flex for the first time this past Monday. The Flex is my first buffer, and I did worry starting off with it (initially planned on ordering a PC).

Your assurances were spot on, and after only an hour starting off slow (speed 3-4), I proceeded to polish the rest of the time at speed 5. I also had no problems going up to speed 6 for the harder swirls, but wasn't sure if I should use it for the entire car, or only on an as-needed basis? (IP/orange, FPII/white)

I learned to control the 'run away', and my hand/wrist/elbows did feel numb at the end of each night, but it was a fun learning experience.

Unfortunately, the car I learned on is an 8 year old, almost 100% swirled car, so I wasn't able to get it swirl free even on speed 6 using IP/FPII. Still it is 90% swirl free now and amazing. I just want to leave it garaged for me to admire, but unfortunately, it's my fiancee's daily commuter. =)

I am hoping for swirl free results when I start on my 335i

What does the stock look like now? Still have some in stock? I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these soon, and I won't complain about a 10% discount. Might have to place a big order with you guys to stock up on some stuff.

Edit: Ahh, no discount code on the flex, just saw that. Ahh well

We have them in stock still. Discounts don't apply to the Flex unfortunately, however, we do offer a few Flex packages with either 10 or 20 pads at some great prices.

Alright, I'm definitely interested. I'll see if I can scrounge together some change for a detailing fund.

My flex arrived about an hour ago

Now I just need someone to tell me how to use it

Also, when I ordered from detailed image, it said there would be a $10 credit for future purchases- does anyone know how to use it or where to look for a code etc?

Mine arrived yesterday.
Now I need to take a friday off to do a detailing weekend.
wash, clay, wash, polish, zaino. then wheel wax the rims, then do a good cleanup of the interior. it will be painful.

Your online account with Detail Image keeps the record of your $10 credit.
it will be applied to your next purchase.

Yep, as FrankoQ said, if you log into your account on DetailedImage.com and click on "My Account" up top, it should show you on the top of that page if you have any credit on your account. If for whatever reason that does not show up, feel free to PM me with the e-mail address you registered with and I'll make sure the credit is applied.

Thanks again for everyones patience and support. I'm looking forward to hearing about the results you guys get after using your Flex buffers!

Congrats, Frank! I know you've been looking forward to it. Don't make the mistake I did and try to do it all in one day. Split it up or you'll kill yourself. Now I know for next time!

I'm planning to take it easy and do the whole process in 3 days.

something like:
Day1: wash, clay, remove wheels and wheel wax them, and do vacuum and interior detailing.

day2: wash and polish. First time to use the flex so I want a full day to play with it.

day 3: zaino.

Just saw you guys started carrying some CG products, are you guys still located in NY? Hopefully I'll get my citrus wash and gloss so I can try my foam cannon out this weekend.
