I do scrape the crap out of everything. Good thing it's mostly the underpanel that's taking most of the beating.

Just be warned that the ocean water in Maine is VERY COLD even in the heart of summer. I never enjoyed going to ME beaches over the summer growing up. Still don't. The water is numbing.

However, Maine lake water is warm enough to swim in. South Shore (MA)/Cape Cod is the coldest ocean I can enjoy.

Like I said... I'm gonna have to spin the fronts down all the way and bring the rears down a bit. I only have maybe 1/2" of threads left up front but plenty in rear. Zero rubbing as is at full lock and nominal to aggressive load/speed.
Doing my best to decode RAW .CR2 images on my netbook running Fedora. Bear with me on the photos.

Somehow I missed focus on this one, but I like it..

Same. I also get those tingly prickly sensations in my face and hands.

Great comment. Us New Englanders are used to it, so often forget. Plus, most of the beaches in Maine are rocky like crazy. Not exactly tropical white sand.

That said, they're beautiful, and offer some really cool time with kids looking at all the mini-ecosystems in the tidal pools. Hermit crabs FTW.

Fitment looks great! It'll look even better once you get the drop dialed in.

I vacation in Maine every summer and while the water is certainly cold, it's tolerable. You do adjust to it if you give it some time. Still enjoyable, IMO.

I'll probably get banned for posting in the Photo forum... so here's to the locals.
Photoshoot with initial test fitment. More low is in order.
