Use for what? On your paint? The only thing that should touch your paint is a very soft sponge or microfiber. Nothing else.

I currently use the lake country blue grout sponges but after reading quite a bit im starting to believe in mitts again. From my understanding the major differences between sponges and these mitts are simply the way they release the dirt. And when properly hosing down the vehicle and using the 2 bucket method it seems like both prove to be ok for the paint. Im no expert though so I was just seeing if anyone could give me a good break down on these .

I use the Proline Grout Sponges from Lowes exclusively. They're cheap, last a while, and are generally great all around. After a few ONR washes or 7-10 regular washes, I demote them to wheel duty and crack open a couple of new ones.

Soft as a baby's bottom, absorb and release dirt well, conforms to every little nook and cranny, and they're what, like $1.50 each? Haha I use them exclusively also, and after almost a full year of washing my own car, barely any swirls came back. |
