Exhuast tips - any chrome options

My car came with the dull chrome tips on it is there a chrome option? I don't want anything too wanky and I can't justify a new exhaust for now... (my wife is spending all my cash... )

I did think about just going to my local powerflow centre and getting them to stick a set on or is there a better option?

Doesn;t the 320 only have a single pipe though and not the dual of the 6 cylinder motors?

Get a 335 twin-style exit straight-through system from Speed Religion instead - you know it makes sense................

Anyone know the size of the exhuast tips on the 330's? I know, I know I could look at mine but my car is parked off site a couple of miles away.

I'm guessing something like 67-70mm?

Oh and just to add I would go for the powerflow option but I have been looking at my local franchise and have been told to stay away.

I had mine done at RSR Bromley, it's the second time I used them with good results, they will offer you a choice of tips, sizes, cuts.

I'm toying with doing the "creepy twin pipes" mod...

But @Married Blonde - can't you just get a chrome tip? Plenty on ebay - search the EU for "e90 auspuffblende"

THere's lots for the saloon and touring but nothing listed for the coupe

I can get the BM ones from my local dealer but they want £90 which I think's a bit excessive, although at this rate my only option...

Are standard tips ok as most seem to be the type you put over your original and tighten a bolt?

Standard tips slide over the pipes - there are retaining 'springs' internally.

Indeed; Powerflow "dealers" are a little hit and miss, it all comes down to the 'franchise holder' and his skill etc.......which does seem to be highly variable.
