Lindsay's Into
**Skip to page 4 for the recent update/re-introduction**
Well, I’ve owned the car for about a month and a half now, so it's about time i made my intro thread. My name is Lindsay (creative screen name huh?) and I'm new to the E9X scene, but not new to the car scene in general (I come from Audi/VW). Purchased the car in March: First up- tint and front plate removal with plate holes filled in/molded and painted before I officially took delivery (and new tires): Two days after pickup, it was in the shop for coilover install (H&R's installed at Achtuning- highly recommended shop): New stance- still needs some tweaking (front needs to come down a bit, rears need to go up a hair) The next week I ordered exhaust, and the week after that it was installed (UUC/Corsa axle-back): Old next to new: A couple weeks later found the wheels I wanted, sent payment, and patiently waited 3 weeks for them to arrive (sellers pic) While we put the wheels on, we threw on the smoked sidemarkers I got from ECS. The sidemarkers alone make a world of difference, so glad to get rid of the orange, I’ll most likely end up just painting them to match the car at some point, but for now, this works. Wheels on: Not so stoked on the wheels just yet. There is some tweaking that needs to be done to the suspension, and different sized tires need to go on the fronts, but for now, this is it. Here is my project/summer car (E30 325 vert): Yellow B5 S4 is my fiancé’s car (screen name rennis) And my old car (B6 Audi), which I still miss dearly I live in Kirkland and work in Bothell, wave if you see me. I actually hate the aluminim trim. I'm planning to wrap it in black at some point in the near future. Sick of spending money on car parts at the moment though, so this car is staying as-s for the time being and time to start ordering some goodies for the E30.

Here you go sweet cheeks And no, the car actually doesnt have reverse rake. The picture(s) above are pretty deceiving because are driveway is slanted which throws off the car and makes it sit uneven. The car is at 24.5" GTF on all four corners at the moment. Probably going to raise the rear a little more though |

Haha woops, didnt even notice that part. Thank god. I'm too old to deal with douchebags like that on forums. I don't have the patience. And for everyone else- no, i wont post pictures of myself. If this was some sort of "hey look at me" type forum then yeah, i probably would (although i wouldnt be on a forum like that to begin with). But this is a car forum, and therefore i'll post car related pictures at most. I might happen to be in a pic or two here and there, but i'm not just gunna whore out pictures of myself. Not here for attention. /rant Now that i got that out of the way, thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I'm not a big fan of gtg's and meets, but i do attend most of the major shows and drives throughout the year, so i'm sure i'll meet some of you sooner or later. I'll be at Leavenworth (undecided on which car i'll be driving), and will be at the E30 picnic in June as well. |

It would scream with big downpipes. But for an affordable and simple exhaust, it sounds pretty damn good to me. If you go this route, I'd have a shop install. We did the install ourselves and it was a giant PITA. Worked out okay, but not sure I'd do it again. The instructions it comes with are okay, but they leave something to be desired. |

Only sport package S4s in the 2001.5 and 2002 MYs had brushed alum. mirrors. My car is a 2002, but not sport package. (thankfully, I don't like the SP interior.)
