thanks for the support! without proper canbus bulbs such as our LED interior kits, the dome lights will just mysteriously shut off until a system reboot is triggered.

I'm not sure I follow your questions so I'll just explain all the options.

There is a factory output listing but there are no options available. It utilizes universal canbus LED's for error free operation and output similar to factory. There are no dome light options and it would not include the upgrade map lights.

OR

Max output option (The Original HPB LED Interior Kit).
2 Options for dome lights, 12 led flat panel or 2 led dome light module. (Pictures are on our site).

12 LED Panel (Upgraded Angled Map lights shown)

24 LED Module

All aspects of the lights will have improved output over the factory option and you will receive the upgraded map lights and the dome light of your choice.

I have the HPB kit as well, and received their first hybrid kit with the new dome modules. Mine are pure white on top and blue in bottom. No issues at all and had them in for 3 years now.

You're referring to the the custom led interior kit where you selected blue led's for the bottom portion, right?

That is correct. So all the footwell lights in my e92 are blue and all dome and map lights are white.

OK, just wanted to clarify because some guys are looking for all white, so the blue comment may have thrown them off haha

I'm very interested, but want to know if both kits (including 12/24 dome) are straight plug'n'play replacement? I am mostly concerned about replacement of the front dome...it looks like once the frosted glass is removed, to insert the dome module, the whole casing between the map lights needs to come out?

Do you have any installation instructions/video for the front dome?

Once the frosted lens is removed which can be done by hand with most cars, you just pull the bulb straight out and replace with the new. Plug and play.

To change the map lights, there is a black shroud, that pulls straight out and allows easier access to the bulb. Again, some principal as dome light, pull the stock bulb straight out and replace with the new. The map light is a bit tricky cause it's a tight space. Otherwise the install is very simple in terms of concept.

You will not have to remove the assembly of the dome light to install these lights.

The HPB led interior kit comes with very thorough and thought out instructions.

I was looking at the market and getting ready to buy a set for myself. I guess I don't have to look further! Three years is a nice span and it tells something.

I bought an all white set from **************** 7 years ago and still have no problems with the lights. They're not a sponsor here anymore and I don't know if they're still in business.

Go with the right stuff the first time bro!
I have a set of HPB lights from TopGearSolutions. My map lights all turn on then shut off after about 4 seconds and won't turn on again. They said it was likely due to a bad connection. I took out the dome light cluster and improved the map light connection by bending the connecting tabs to have a better contact. Made no difference. My rears do the same thing. I also hadn't bothered to try fixing it any further since I rarely use my map lights. Could this be the same issue that you have?

I bought my set from Top Gear Solutions around the time this thread started. It's still working perfectly after all these years.
