This is what someone can call exhaust innovation

I didn't knew that this kind of evil stuff existed until today that I show this on youtube watching a Aventador video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qTgNuldvfb4

I checked their website http://www.armytrix.com/remote-control-kits.php and unfortunately they do not have a kit for our cars. This is something for all of us the nerds and geeks of this forum.

I wish they could make a kit for our cars.

Wasn't there a guy on here with a screen name "armytrix?"

There are one or two valved exhausts for our cars but they are expensive.

As far as I know, the only one is KKS Performance and you can activate the valve with a button. Those guys have walked the extra mile with activating though the app and also being able to monitor all those things though the OBD port the same time.

There's also akrapovic. It definitely isn't anything new and the "extra mile" you've mentioned can easily be seen in the extra $$$.

Unnecessary complicated exhaust system. Those who have factory exhaust systems and even those who use valved aftermarket exhausts can get a CG Precision wireless valve controller for $200

Garage List
2015 BMW M3  [9.67]
Does some pretty nice stuff but as far as for valve control, I prefer controlling mine on the fly via my BMS module thru the steering stalk button. Kind of unsafe scrolling thru an app while your driving to do the same thing.

I also don't like that stupid looking transformer's megatron light on the OBD II plug in.

Lastly when you use this you lose your BT phone/music/other app connectivity with your BMW.

All these make is a non starter for me.

Well guys I didn't knew that there are so many "similar" solutions. Having checked all the available exhaust solutions for my car, this seemed way ahead.

Also my apologies since I didn't noticed that the off-topic section, is a universal forum for all the BMW cars and not the Z4's.

innotech makes a valved "f1" exhaust for these cars, but i'm not sure what actuates it.

I checked their website but unfortunately they don't make any system for a Z4M. Thanks anyway.

Exhaustmeister makes a remote version for m5/m6 and probably for other platforms. Eisenmann and Akra with Exhaustmeister or BMS flap control is pretty cool:
