Are Prices Re-negotiable after Ordering with Deposit

I ordered a 335i Cabriolet at the end of April, and will be getting it delivered early July. We had agreed at a price at that time, and I put $1000 deposit and signed the order form. I've heard that dealer inventories are rising, sales slowing, and discounts are becoming higher now.

Can I still re-negotiate (again) for a higher discount? I am getting $2500 off MSRP? Is that a good deal for the 335i Cab?

I was able to negotiate for the discounts that were available when my car was delivered, which was 4.5 months after I ordered it...

I highly doubt that you will be able to renegotiate the deal.
$2500 discount I will say average.

I've been told that the Cabriolets have low discounts because of high demand. Is $2500 only average? I would have thought it as being on the higher side for the convertible.

If you didn't specifically state or see anything written that says your deposit is refundable, then no. But you will get whatever promotions is happening when you pick up the car, just ask.

I would say its on the higher side I should know I sell them! and in all fairness would you want the dealership to go back on there word after you agreed to a price? maybe see if they can help with a parts discount~!

Keep in mind that us Canadians get buttraped on the price of BMW's compared to you guys down south. MSRP on a base 335i e93 is 66,600 vs 49,500.

Not taking currency exchange into account, thats more than 30 percent difference.

Considering I got Closer to 2K in 2006 (When the Economy was doing well) plus the E92's were just released, I will say 2500 righ now is Average. Again that is my 2 cents

i think you probably won't be able to re-negotiate considering $2500 is a good discount and the deposite is probably non-refundable.

i'm in a different situation, my deposite is actually non-refundable but swappable. i want to delay receiving my car or eveb build a brand new one, wondering if there's a chance for that lol...
