Disabling EGR

Anybody know how to do this? This would solve a lot of issues with carbon buildup. On my truck I simple disconnect a wire. It throws a code, but who cares, I can clear them.

While we do not have that option here stateside yet, I am curious what guys do about the EGR cooler when you disable/bypass the EGR, does the remap take care of that as well?

I was speaking with Evolve about this and while they have not done this yet, they feel reasonably confident they could address this w/a custom remap.

The other issue that would still need to be addressed is the EGR cooler.

does anyone know where the EGR is or have a picture of it in our engine? What would happen if we just unplugged it (besides the CEL)
