so...i wasnt impressed with the X3's I looked at, bit dated for me, especially inside.

the 159 I like, but they arent as big as I expected. in the flesh they really do look beautiful, and Im really taken by one of those.

ive definately gone off having a larger vehicle, Range, ML, Toureg etc - will be just too big for the Mrs on a daily basis, and potential cost scare me a little.

In a twist of fate.....On Monday one of the useless lease companies came back to me with an order that someone had back out of, on a Qashqai 360 model, and 'apparently' are offering me a deal on the monthly payments if I take it before end of May - so we might well just do that.

In the interim, I thought Id test the water with mine on Autotrader, putting it up yesterday afternoon, and the first guy to look at it (this morning) gave me the asking price.
so now Ive got a brown bag of money sitting on my desk, and the internet at my mercy.

and the only car we have is a 3 door clio!!!

Nothing like dithering is there!!!........but my hands forced now, so I'll be making a decision or two over the bank holiday Im sure!

Wow, what a turnaround, well done on selling your motor so quickly. Bit of a result.

Can't go far wrong with a QQ if I'm honest. Does everything extremely well but isn't quite a polished as things offered from Germany but a fantastic car - there's a reason there's so many on the roads.

Is it a standard QQ you're looking at or the +2 version. Basically identical bar a bit more practicality plus the two extra seats (which can be surprisingly useful) on the +2.

did pretty well I thought, selling a car with 106k on it might have been a bit of a chore, but I guess I was sensible with the price, and was looked after.

hurts a little bit though

this deal is on standard QQ - boot space is still twice the size of clio, so plenty big enough I think. fair compromise in my opinion.

S-Max FTW!

I haven't mentioned it so far today so just thought I'd throw that in there

The most complete car I've ever owned. Spacious (very), quiet, refined, comfortable, plenty of go. Ticks every box. I even think it looks pretty good.

Why people buy these BMWs I'll never know

was a bit odd waking up and not seeing this outside the house this morning.
Chap who bought this got a great car.

I'll get over it Im sure - Ive already been browsing the 335i's on AT this morning.
A friend picked me up this morning, and he has an S5 - its nice but its not that nice.

Qashqai is ordered, delivery due 23rd May. Its the 360 model with Bluetooth, Around View Monitor, Rear park sensors, Nissan Sat Nav, Pano Glass and Leather, in Artic White.
must have been a cancelled order, but for £220 inc VAT a month, it seems excellent value for money.

You can't go far wrong with a) a QQ 360 and b) £220 p/m. Looks amazing value. We've got a Tekna version, my understanding was that the 360 replaced the model beneath ours, the ntec, but can't see from your list what ours has that yours hasn't. Xenons and BOSE seem about it (the pano roof, leather & 360 cameras, which were all Tekna only, all seem included in the lesser version). The 360 version seems the model of choice now.

next installment......

picked up a e46 320 ci sport convertible (very cheap!) at the weekend, that needs tidying and a few bits doing (I must be mad with an 11week old baby!), hasn't been used for 2 months so dirt is my major enemy!

needs the leather and hood cleaning, and the paintwork needs a machine polish, but I can do all that, fairly straight forward.
