if you are gonna make one in carbon fiber, make sure you make it to exact lip. dont do no fancy sh*t and make it thicker. if the original lip is not thick, there must be a reason why. btw, how much do you think a carbon fiber one would cost? maybe i should just stick to the real lip.

Usually, if the shape of the lip is not too fancy, then it won't be too expensive. Well, it is carbon fiber, it will not be cheap. How much is the authentic lip?

The reason why some replica lip doesn't fit is because the nature of fiberglass tended to change shape. Even a very little change in shape will make the lip difficult to fit. Some change more than another. Even the authentic lip can't fit 100% PERFECT.

Since carbon fiber doesn't change shape, a full carbon fiber lip will gareentee fitment. However, there will be another problem, the bumper on our car will change shape very slightly after time. But, since the bumper is made of what we call "SOFT" material, we can bolt the carbon fiber lip onto the bumper. Now, another problem arise, i haven't seen the authentic lip before, we might need to redesign the back of the lip to make it a bolt on lip.

Well, I will gather more information about the authentic lip and consult with our company's carbon fiber expert and see what he says about the possibility of the hartge lip in carbon fiber
