I didn't ever say "You are a racist" I just find it's a dumb and unnecessary thing to say. Pointing out stereotypes is often considered racist where I grew up and I was taught to try hard not to do it.

I'm not trying to offend anyone with my comments, but I do find it offensive when people jump to what can be seen as a racially-based/stereotypical conclusion and say something like that.

You're absolutely right, I don't know what nationality the poster is, but that still doesn't necessarily make his comment well intentioned or good spirited.

Okay, then but different phrasing would have helped a bit. Just to check in here, "nationality" does not confer "race", nor ethnicity. A fine Jesuit Priest taught me long ago that we are all of the human race, but ethnicity separates us from one another. Ethnicity is what makes people interesting IMO.
